The ADMI “administrative management and animation” cross-functional axis manages the entire scope of the unit’s administration in conjunction with support services and supervisory authorities.
It coordinates the establishment of the budget and the financial report of the unit as well as the preparation and management of all projects subsidized by donors during local, national, European or international calls for tender. The axis ensures the provision of resources, monitoring of credits, management control and validation of financial reports relating to expenses incurred within the framework of calls for projects. It instructs and monitors all requests for recruitment of UMR staff according to the different legislations specific to the countries (France, Benin).
In addition, this axis plays a key role in the dissemination of information both within the unit and towards the scientific community and the general public in France and Benin. It animates the various communication tools that present the activities of the UMR. Another important function of this transversal axis is the coordination of the quality approach and research regulations, both in France and Benin. The axis is involved in the development of tools aimed at reducing administrative burdens and optimizing decision-making processes.
He is responsible for creating and updating essential databases for all UMR staff, thus constituting the unit's memory since 2001.
The axis carries out all of its missions with strong porosity between the scientific teams.
