CHRONO: Artemisinin resistance and Plasmodium falciparum cell cycle

This project focuses on the study of the role of the PfK13 protein in the mechanism of resistance to artemisinins, focusing on

1. the duration of the different stages of the intra-erythrocyte cycle of 48 hours,
2. comparative transcriptomic analysis of different parasite lineages, and
3. structure-function studies of the propeller domain of the protein.
