The R-PurS project, funded by the French Embassy in Benin, is a project of the Solidarity Fund for innovative projects. Under the responsibility of Richard LALOU (IRD – MERIT), Lionel BRIAND (COCAC), Dr Arnauld FIOGBE (CNHU-PPC), the project has as its main partner the National Hospital-University Center for Pneumo-Phtisiology in Cotonou (CNHU-PPC) .
The aim of the R-PurS project is to strengthen, based on research results, communication on the health impacts of pollution, in order to increase preventive behavior among people suffering from asthma and to advocate for actions that reduce emissions of air pollutants in Cotonou.
