HLA-Typing Africa: Characterization of HLA haplotypes in African populations and study of the impact of these haplotypes on the clinical and parasitic phenotypes of malaria

This collaborative project aims to improve knowledge on the diversity of HLA haplotypes in African populations, to improve techniques for imputing the HLA region and to look at the genetic impact of the HLA region on the different clinical pheotypes. and parasites collected during the monitoring of the different populations typed for the HLA locus.
