Study project consisting of the biochemical and structural characterization of potential therapeutic targets of P. falciparum, molecules that inhibit parasite growth in vitro. The results will then make it possible to optimize the initial hit molecules, so that they are specific to parasitic proteins. Inhibition of parasite growth is also evaluated on field isolates in collaboration with the CNR (National Reference Center) for Malaria.
