SARA: Surveillance of Antibiotic Resistance in Africa

The main objective will be achieved by developing six types of complementary activities:

1. Integration of data on resistance in consulting patients in partner institutions;
2. Implementation of the "One Health" approach in the area of ​​antibiotic resistance;
3. Definition of resistance mechanisms and the strains involved, using a genomics approach;
4. Integrated data storage, management and analysis;
5. A training and capacity building program;
6. Transversal coordination of the project.

This project will result in an integrated network of skills and scientific synergy in the field of surveillance and research on antibiotic resistance.
