Children born to Pf-infected mothers develop their first malaria infection more rapidly during childhood. These infections occur from the first weeks of life when maternal antibodies are still circulating in young children and should be able to protect them against infections. This project aims to measure the functionality of maternal antibodies transmitted according to placental malaria and prematurity.
