R_GHANA

The project, led by David Courtin and associating Richard Lalou and Adrian Luty from MERIT, aims to produce sensors measuring air quality and to increase the production of reliable spatial and temporal data on the concentrations of fine particles in three major cities in Ghana (Accra, Kumasi and Cape Coast). This data, essential for the implementation of pollution reduction strategies, will also enable the Young Team Associated with IRD (JEAI) RIPE – Respiratory illnesses and air pollution exposure to study the link between exposure to fine particles and respiratory health.
